Incredible Beagle’s Image (11 images)
It took Joel Brochu much patience, dedication and 8 long months to complete this awesome image of a beagle. The most incredible part about this artwork is how it was made.
Joel used 221,184 nonpareil sprinkles of six colors to create his “candy” dog. Check out 10 more images after the jump.
This masterpiece was made with the help of a customized computer program. Joel Brochu had a high definition photo of 4 feet by 1.5 feet (1.2 m by 0.45 m) board as a template for placing each tiny candy bead. At a distance of 16 feet (about 5 m), the sprinkles blur and the human eye is tricked into believing that it’s looking at a huge photograph.
