Proud British granddad Shem Davies is not even 30 yet and his 14-year-old daughter Tia already has a child! Shem had Tia when he was only 15, setting the stage for his daughter to follow in his footsteps.
When Shemp, who happens to be unemployed at the moment, showed up to the hospital, the staff thought he was the father instead of the grandfather. It's hard to believe in it. See the photos of quit possibly the youngest family in the UK. 8 more images after the jump.

If any Of you had a brain big enough to store more than just reality tv shows you would know that if you look back at history not even a full century ago this was totally normal. If you got past 20 unmarried you were a spinster. And yes we live longer now but just because we have more time does it make it wrong if someone chooses not to wait. I was a teen mom at the age of 15. Yeah, it was hard to throw away my teenage years. But it taught me responsibilities and I'm a better person because of it. I love my daughter and I don't care what any of you say that its wrong or illegal to have a child young. Yeah, my baby was pre-mature too but she survived just fine. Yeah the dad is short; but that's who she chose to have sex with. No one is perfect, all of you have flaws too. I'm happy for them and hope they make it in life. Everyone needs to stop judging people.

And exactly how are you supposed to look a day after you spent hours giving birth and 9 months carrying around an extra 20 lbs or so. Chances are the father was there for the whole thing and neither he nor mom have had much sleep in the past 24/48 hrs leading up to the photo.

Based on many of your comments, I am sad to be part of humanity. I had my son when I was 21. I was not ready, but because of him, I grew up quickly and am all the better for it. I worked hard to get a head start on a career I love. I was young enough to enjoy him and young enough to enjoy activities he enjoyed with him (Lazerquest, Playdium, Ontario Place, The CNE, cartoons, video games, etc...)
On the other hand I have known men at the age of 30 or more who had their first child and didn't grow up, didn't bond. Age has nothing to do with it. It all depends on how responsible you are, how well you have prepared for life, education, etc... and what you are made of.
I don't know these people, so I am not going to judge. I wish them well. It says he is currently out of work. Many good responsible people are out of work due to the economy brought on by the US banks. Wanna shit on somebody, shit on them. They deserve it.
They appear to be a close knit family, with the grand parents being teen parents, more than likely they are understanding and supporting the new parents, the way it should be, while they finish their education. As opposed to these disconnected families who kick their teen pregnancies and elder parent out of their homes.
Now if I am wrong and the currently out of work comment actually should have said perpetually out of work and on assistance, they yea, f&#k em.

There is no god so he definitely had no hand in this LOL at the first guy. The only other thing i wanted to say is it's not the best situation out there but by far not the worst while I am typing a starving child in Africa just died children are being abused or killing each other as child soldiers, quite sure this child will never go through any of that. Theres worse situations than this happening right in your neighborhood I guarantee.

The poor dad looks like he's just barely hit puberty. I hope his parents are alright with this, and that he sticks around to care for the kid. That's a lot of responsibility at that age. They're probably part of some group (like gypsy's or something) where young marriage/parenthood is not only acceptable but the norm. I wish them all the best.

Look, i don't think any of you should say it's gross at-all... stuff like this happens a lot our days, and i think the young parents have made a good decision... not saying it was the right or wrong one but I'm just saying it was a good one, i think it will bring them all closer and the young new parents should have time to reflect on what they have done but also move on and get of with the rest of there life's with this new born.... and should have full support from everyone, don't put them down!! that's when things will go wrong!!.... Humans have a natural life span of around 30/35, so if it were not for financial/social pressures this would be the age everyone had children. Yes, this baby may be premature, but it does not have Down's syndrome, the mother didn't suffer a fatal blood clot whilst pregnant, and they seem otherwise healthy.
