Beautiful Place, but not during Heavy Rains
It's Bohol Island, Philippines before and after heavy rains.
These images are taken from Bobby Henderson's blog. I found her blog very interesting and thought that this story should be shared with you guys. Check out the whole story with Bobby's words. Twelve more pics after the jump.

The falls are about 25 feet tall. The water collects in a pool. Its not deep. There's a bamboo raft.

The guys were swimming playing on the raft.

Closer to the falls

There is some space behind the falls the two guys went back there.

This is the view downstream. It's very shallow

It got very loud, water came out of nowhere. The 2 guys had nowhere to go.

This picture was taken perhaps 30 seconds later.

That's the same picnic table.

Water is still rising fast.

A view of the falls as they now look. Those 2 guys are still back there. Noone saw them swept away so maybe they are still alive.

The water is full of bamboo, mud, etc. It's still surging very loud. At this point of time there are a lot of people waiting to see if those guys are ok.

This was the last picture Bobby took more than an hour later and the falls were still at flood stage. This incident occurred on 30th June 2009 and by 7th April Bobby came to know that both the bodies were recovered.

How do you know they said nothing, last time I checked it doesn't take your mouth to work a camera, also this happened in the span of 30 seconds, and even if they wanted to help theres not much they could do.

My guess would be as a warning that area is dangerous and areas similar to it are dangerous.
