dear Mr. M. Walaiudin,
Mr. Arshad Malik has every right to post whatever he wants in these comments. As such, we do too. However, Mr. Malik's post was filled with sheer ignorance and logical fallacies. Responces stemming from his own are not just out of spite, but of simple urging for Mr. Malik to accept McDonald's for what it is, and to learn what passive boycotting means. He is the equivalent of a drunk man screaming logically invalid obscenities in a bar. Are we just to ignore him? Sure, you can just say that it's a different situation since the internet filters out everything but one's anonymity, but isn't all social interaction just that, conversing among fellow gentle-persons? Shouldn't this communication be held in the highest regards no matter what the scenario? Sure, Mr. Malik's comment will not directly affect me, but it is also rather unlikely that a similar comment at a bar will do the same. Now sir, if I encounter a drunk person ruining my experience of something, such as viewing this website, I am going to respond. If I were just to let it go it would mean that I, sir, am missing a rather important pair of testicles. Your parents may have told you to ignore bullies or other annoyances, but do you think a problem will simply go away by pretending it is not there? I'm sure plenty of presidential cabinets can agree with my logic here.
